Norman hasn’t stepped outside in over 30 years, but there’s a whole world in his head. His audience is Tom, a lonely van driver who has ended up in his orbit. What plays out between them is gritty, human and properly funny in the darkest way.
It’s written and directed by Dean Stalham, and stars Sidney Kean (of God Don’t Live on a Council Estate) alongside Hayley Marie Ax. Stalham’s a playwright and activist who builds theatre out of working-class life, prison and rehabilitation, giving a stage to voices that rarely get one.
Two shows only, on Thursday 30th and Friday 31st July, both at 7.30pm. It’s an hour straight through, no interval, and every ticket is a tenner. Heads up: contains references to drugs and alcohol.
