Murder on the Nile @ The Stables
20 JULY 2026 - 25 JULY 2026
Agatha Christie’s classic whodunnit sets sail at The Stables Theatre, and it has everything you would want from the queen of crime: a boatful of suspects and a trademark twist.
The setting is a river cruise down the Nile, and the passenger list is a proper rogues’ gallery. Everyone is aboard for their own reasons and everyone has brought their own drama. And then naturally someone turns up dead.
First staged in 1946, it is Christie’s own adaptation of her 1937 novel Death on the Nile, and runs around 2 hours and 20 minutes including the interval.
There are eight performances across July:
7.30pm on the 17th, 18th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th and 25th.
2.30pm matinée on the 19th.
Tickets are £13.50 for adults and £8.50 for under-18s and members.
Accessibility: Wheelchair user and carer seats can only be booked via the box office. The theatre has an infra-red listening system, accessible via headphones or certain hearing aids, contact the box office for details.
