Calling all bangers and mash fans – head to Courthouse Street this evening for home-made local pork sausages, creamy mash, baked beans and plenty of onion gravy.
It’s part of Old Town Carnival Week and a good excuse to sit down with a decent plate of food and a complimentary bottle of French beer in one of the oldest streets in Hastings.
Food is served until 6:30 pm, with proceeds supporting High Street Traders. Tickets are £9.50 from History House and Deeday & Bev’s Yard in Courthouse Street.  There are only 120 available, so it’s worth buying yours in advance if you want a seat.
