Nicolas Roeg’s The Man Who Fell to Earth turns 50 this year. The Electric Palace is marking it with a 4K screening at 3 pm.
David Bowie plays a stranded alien (what a casting). His character Jerome Newton makes a name for himself as an inventor and falls in love on Earth. It’s when he tries to leave that things start to go wrong.
Candy Clark and Rip Torn also star. The film runs for 139 minutes and is rated 18.
Adult tickets are £12 and concessions are £10 for seniors or anyone who’s unemployed or disabled, while 21 & Under members pay £6.
