THEATRE OF BLOOD WITH SILVER SCREEN SIPPERS

The Electric Palace is showing Theatre of Blood at 5 pm as part of Silver Screen Sippers. And yes, there will be Vincent Price Bloody Marys.

Price plays Edward Lionheart, a Shakespearean actor with a grudge against London’s theatre critics. He takes his revenge one critic at a time and gets his ideas from Shakespeare’s grisliest scenes. Diana Rigg plays his daughter in this 1973 horror comedy. The film runs for 104 minutes and is rated 15.

Before the film, archivist and writer Jenny Hammerton will share some of the stars’ cocktail recipes. Her co-author Peter Fuller will be there too.

Standard tickets are £12 for adults and £10 for concessions. A ticket with a Bloody Mary costs £18 for adults or £16 for concessions. You can also buy a cocktail on the night.
