A bonfire on the lake and someone else sorting dinner – we like the sound of this.
Powdermills is hosting Bonfire Night in its grounds and they’re not messing about.  They have a live band playing beside the water AND you can toast s’mores over the fire pits AND get stuck into the hog roast or spiced squash soup. That’s all before the bonfire is lit at 7:30 pm.
Johnnie Walker is hosting complimentary whiskey tastings, though spaces are limited for that. There’s hot chocolate for the kids and sparklers on arrival.
FYI: there are no fireworks out of respect for the wildlife.  Head over from 6 pm. Tickets are £16.96, under 12s is £6.13.

It’s going ahead whatever the weather, so do bring your waterproofs. Though, shelter is available.
