Pulitzer-nominated author Thomas Hauser is in Hastings, talking about a writing career that has taken him from Muhammad Ali to Sherlock Holmes.
His biography Muhammad Ali: His Life and Times won the William Hill Book of the Year Award and is widely regarded as the definitive account of Ali’s life. His investigation Missing went on to inspire the Academy Award-winning film starring Jack Lemmon and Sissy Spacek.
Hauser has written across fiction and non-fiction, with his work published around the world. He’s also a member of boxing’s Hall of Fame, so expect plenty to get into when the conversation turns to the sport.
