David Olusoga is opening Hastings Book Festival 2026 at Studio 27, talking about his life and the work that has made him one of Britain’s best-known public historians.
You will probably know him from A House Through Time or Black and British: A Forgotten History. And yes, more recently, The Traitors.
Alongside his broadcasting work, David is a writer and Professor of Public History at the University of Manchester. For this festival opener, he will be looking back over his career and the stories that have shaped it.
It starts at 7 pm and tickets are £25.00 (+£0.63 ticket service fee). The venue is fully accessible.
