The Albion Rodeo

Pull on your cowboy boots and head to The Albion where the seafront turns into an open-air Wild West party from 7 pm.

Try your luck on a rodeo bull or just enjoy the food and live music while you watch everyone else give it a go (£3 a go, adults and kids welcome). Local band The Longshore Drifters will also be playing a classic honky-tonk and old-school country set.

Fancy dress is highly encouraged, and every penny raised from the rodeo bull goes to the RNLI. So if you do end up in the dust, at least it’s for a good cause.

It’s part of Hastings Old Town Carnival Week (Saturday 1st – Sunday 9th August), a week-long celebration that’s been bringing the community together since 1968. Expect pram racing, treasure trails, live music, street parties and plenty more, all leading up to the Grand Carnival Procession and raising money for local charities.
