Head round the pubs of Hastings Old Town in fancy dress, hunting down answers to a list of cryptic clues. Once you have them all, you leg-it-back race to the Lord Nelson to see where you placed. Every team wins a bottled prize to share, with first back getting first pick.
Along the route, you’ll carry a charity collection pot and encourage donations from passers-by, with every penny going to Macmillan Cancer Support.
Start at the Lord Nelson at 6:30 pm (it ends at 9 pm) and it’s £2 per team member.
Part of Hastings Old Town Carnival Week (Saturday 1st – Sunday 9th August), running since 1968. Expect pram racing, treasure trails, live music and street parties, building up to the Grand Carnival Procession, all in aid of local charities.
