Vive Le Punk Documentary

Join Director, Danny Garcia as he introduces his documentary, Vive Le Punk, celebrating 50 years of UK Punk – screening at 9 pm at Electric Palace.

Half a century on from the British Punk explosion, the film follows four bands still going strong today: Sham 69, 999, Ruts DC and The Boys, chronicling their enduring legacy and ongoing journeys through exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes access.

It also features a powerhouse line-up of Punk luminaries, including Charlie Harper (UK Subs), Joe Corré (entrepreneur and son of Malcolm McLaren and Vivienne Westwood), Dr. John Cooper Clarke (the punk poet laureate), Gaye Advert (The Adverts) and author/DJ Chris Sullivan, all reflecting on the movement’s lasting impact.

With rare archival footage and live performances, the film asks the burning question: is Punk still relevant?
