Cold water and a warm welcome: that’s Trunks & Hunks. It’s a free twice-weekly sea dip for men with a refreshingly simple pitch: get in the sea, have a chat and feel all the better for it.
No one will be checking your swimming credentials and loads of people rock up alone to this friendly group. Some come for the wellbeing; others just fancy the cold-water shock of it.
They meet at Rock-A-Nore beach every Sunday at 7 am and every Wednesday at 7 pm. Bring your swimmers and a towel – oh! And the dog too, if you like.
