THE GORGEOUS WORKSHOPS

Learn some of the tricks of the trade from the performers themselves, with this full day of one-hour workshops with the burlesque and cabaret stars from The Gorgeous Show.

10:30am: Belle De Beauvoir – Showgirl Style
A beginner-friendly burlesque masterclass covering showgirl technique and classic stocking peels. Bring a pair of stockings. Heels are optional but recommended.

11:35 am: Loose Willis – Finding Your Drag Persona
A one-hour workshop with Loose Willis.

12:40 pm: Enrico Touché – Clowning
An introduction to clowning with simple games and exercises exploring the basics of the art form and how it can work on stage. It’s open to performers and complete beginners. Wear something comfortable to move around in.

2:15 pm: Miss Cherry Buns – Choreography
A one-hour choreography workshop.

3:20 pm: Betty Rogers – Tassels
A one-hour tassels workshop.

The day runs from 10:30 am until 4:30 pm at Mews Industrial Quarter. Tickets are from £26.16.

Get there 10 minutes before your session as latecomers won’t be admitted and do check the individual workshop details before you head over in case you need to bring anything with you.
