STARRY NIGHT: Fundraiser for VillageForceAfrica

You can hear opera singers Anthony Flaum and Chiara Vinci right here in St Leonards at this charity concert for VillageForceAfrica.

Local tenor Anthony Flaum recently appeared in Tosca alongside Sir Bryn Terfel in Oxford. Soprano Chiara Vinci is currently working with the Royal Ballet and Opera and they will be accompanied by pianist Alistair Dawes, conductor and former head of music staff at the Royal Opera. Richard Eldridge will also play the Grand March from Aida on the organ.

There will how be familiar tunes and popular choruses, so you can join in with some singing yourself. Italian food and a licensed bar will be available and there is a raffle with a 90-minute aromatherapy massage as the top prize.

The evening supports VillageForceAfrica’s work with village communities and is on from  7:30 pm to 9:30 pm at St John the Evangelist on Pevensey Road in St Leonards. Doors open at 6:45 pm and tickets are £15 on the door.

All ages are welcome – as are well-behaved dogs. The venue is accessibility-friendly with parking nearby.
