Songs of Light
07 NOVEMBER 2026
Hastings Philharmonic Choir is trying somewhere new for Songs of Light – go hear them at the medieval All Saints Church in Hastings Old Town.
Marcio da Silva conducts the choir and Hastings Philharmonic Orchestra. The choir will perform Schubert’s Mass in Gand Saint-Saëns’ Oratorio de Noël. The orchestra also has two pieces of its own to play: Debussy’s Danses sacrée et profane and Copland’s Clarinet Concerto.
The vocal soloists are sopranos Beth Yates and Helen May, contralto Kerry Gentleman, tenor John Twitchen and baritone Geoff Williams. Boyan Ivanov plays clarinet and Elin Samuel plays harp. Ticket price incl. booking fee £0.00 – £24.26.
Accessibility: While there are steps leading up to the main front of the church, there is also an accessible slope that leads around to the South Porch, which provides entry. The church features an accessible toilet, hearing loop, and welcomes assistance dogs.
