Queer Ass Folk
21 AUGUST 2026
Queer Ass Folk puts LGBTQ+ songwriters front and centre, returning to Stade Hall for a Friday night full of wonderfully original music.
On the bill are Ruti, Jack Panther and Charlie Austen, each bringing a very different sound to the room and the breaks between their sets leave plenty of time for a drink and a chat.
Ruti moves between cinematic folk and alternative pop, while New Zealand-born Jack Panther deals in darker, introspective pop. Charlie Austen heads in a bluesier folk-rock direction, using guitar and their unique suitcase drum-kit invention.
The organisers are serious about keeping grassroots live music within reach. General admission is £12 plus booking fee, but anyone on a low income can contact them for a discount. The £20 Pay It Forward ticket covers your own place and helps somebody else attend too.
Doors open at 7:30 pm, with a full bar and refreshments available throughout. The event is for ages 16 and over.
Accessibilty: Stade Hall is wheelchair accessible, with step-free entry and an accessible toilet. Accessible parking and complimentary assistant tickets are available, and the organisers can arrange seating for anyone with specific requirements.
