National Theatre Live: Les Liaisons Dangereuses

Les Liaisons Dangereuses comes to the big screen at Kino Teatr, filmed live on stage at the National Theatre.

BAFTA Award-winner and Academy Award nominee Lesley Manville (Phantom Thread, Mrs Harris Goes To Paris) joins Aidan Turner (Poldark, Rivals) in a striking new staging of Christopher Hampton’s celebrated adaptation of the classic 18th-century French novel by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos.

The Marquise de Merteuil is a master in the art of survival. Alongside the magnetic Vicomte de Valmont, they turn seduction into strategy and weaponise desire. But when their alliance collapses into rivalry, the battle between them threatens to destroy everyone in their path.

Directed by Marianne Elliott (Angels in America), this is a thrilling game of love, lies and social warfare.
