Midsummer Festival on White Rock

Where else can you spend an afternoon among rare plants and skate ramps, having arrived by vintage trolleybus? The Midsummer Festival that’s where.

Set on the old bowling greens above Falaise Hall, it’s a free, family-friendly afternoon celebrating the area’s heritage and green spaces. There will be live acoustic music – including a set from local favourites The Fabulous Red Diesel. The teenagers in your life can hit the interactive skate jam and there are sports areas and arts and crafts workshops to dip into + community stalls explore biodiversity, regional horticulture and the legacy of Hastings-linked botanical artist Marianne North.

And here’s a lovely touch: you can travel up to the festival aboard ‘Happy Harold’, the famous local vintage trolleybus, running routes up to Falaise Road from the seafront.

It’s on 12 pm – 5 pm and entry is free but book your pass in advance here
