The Hastings Embroidery is on display at Hastings Town Hall, telling the story of England from 1066 through nine centuries of history in stitch.
Created for the 900th anniversary of the Battle of Hastings, the work continues the story beyond the Bayeux Tapestry, with richly detailed panels charting the people and events that shaped the centuries that followed.
It’s free to view over multiple dates until November but registration is required.
