Fête à Fairlight

A little slice of France on the wrong side of the Channel, brought to you by The Cove in Fairlight. Inspired by the classic fêtes of French villages this is a weekend full of French fun.

Friday 10th July, from 5pm

Pétanque in the garden, live music from Moreno & Moore, and French beer and wine a-flowing. To eat, there’s a Moules Frites menu at £15 per person (ticketed) and includes bread and butter to start, moules frites for the main event, and melon to finish.

Saturday 11th July, from 4pm

Wine tasting  (an introduction to French wine from Les Caves de Pyrene) , alongside merguez sizzling on the BBQ and live music from Viellefon. Plus the two finest French sports: snail racing and pétanque.  To eat, there is à la carte and a prix fixe menu available, with steak frites, ratatouille and dauphinoise, and tarte tatin to finish. Magnifique!
