Book Signing & Storytelling with Gina Gershon

Gina Gershon is coming to The Waves with her gloriously titled memoir, AlphaPussy: How I Survived the Valley and Learned to Love My Boobs.

The star of Showgirls and Bound drops into the bookshop for an informal afternoon of storytelling, drawn from a memoir that is as bold as its title suggests. It follows her from a wayward childhood in the San Fernando Valley through a distinctly untraditional career, learning to spot the toxic types and outsmart the shady ones, all while holding onto her autonomy as a woman and an actress.

Signing runs from 4 pm to 6 pm, with the storytelling starting around 4:30 pm. It’s free, but reserve a spot as this one’s bound to be popular. You can pre-order a signed copy through The Waves, or pick one up on the day.
