Acidfest @ The Piper

It’s touring everywhere from Reykjavik to Austin, Texas and tonight it’s in Hastings.

AcidFest heads to The Piper, run by the Liverpool Psychedelic Society and built entirely around far out visuals and sound.

Thee Lucifer Sams headline: they have never been on Spotify or social media, and their sets are semi-improvised noise pulling from Syd Barrett-era Pink Floyd, Hawkwind and Sonic Youth. The Dead Zoo bring their trans-led post-punk from London and are always worth watching. Eels! Eels! Eels! make their Hastings debut with alt-rock and a good dose of psych that’s already picking up radio play. And Madonovan does something unique by covering songs that have been written but never released.
