St Leonards Festival 2026

A highlight of the local calendar, St Leonards Festival is a free, family-friendly celebration of everything that makes this town special.

Expect live music from 12 pm, with outdoor performances popping up around the square, and a colourful carnival parade winding through the crowds, with street entertainment and activities to keep all ages busy. Add in a brilliant atmosphere and plenty of local food and drink – and it makes for a grand day out.

This year’s performers include The Showglobe’s Enchanted Flower Globe, the UK African Acrobats, Dolly Delicious, Xena Flame, the Section 5 Drummers, and Richard Storybeard. There will be community stalls dotted about too, as well as food from local vendors.

This year’s parade and workshops take inspiration from the animal kingdom, so don your own animal-themed costume or creation. Little ones can also get creative at the free children’s craft workshops, making animal-inspired masks and decorations to show off in the parade.

Parade-goers should gather at 2:45 pm at the Rose Garden in Warrior Square, ready to set off at 3pm.
