Après Beach: Lily Ramona Trio

greyskull’s summer live music series, Après Beach – Live at 5, continues with a set from the Lily Ramona Trio.

Lily Ramona is an East Sussex-based indie folk singer-songwriter known for her emotionally rich songwriting, atmospheric live shows and a distinctive, expressive voice. Raised in a deeply musical family rooted in London’s punk scene, she went on to tour internationally with folk-country trio The Hank Dogs – supporting artists including Joan Baez and working with legendary producer Joe Boyd (Nick Drake, R.E.M., Vashti Bunyan).

For this show she’s joined by Trevor Moss on bass (of acclaimed folk duo Trevor Moss & Hannah-Lou), who’s toured with the likes of Tori Amos and Damon Albarn. Steve Brookes is on drums, best known for his work with Danny & The Champions of the World. Together the trio blend folk, Americana and roots-rock into a live show that promises to be powerful.

About Après Beach: Live at 5

Inspired by the atmosphere of après ski , Après Beach runs every Saturday from June to September in greyskull’s courtyard, just behind Queens Road. The sessions are free, with food, cocktails, beer and coffee served throughout.

Music starts from 5pm, with courtyard seating available all evening.
