NADINE KAADAN: THE JASMINE SNEEZE

Haroun the cat loves the sunny courtyards of Damascus. The jasmine flowers keep making him sneeze though, and he has had enough.

Award-winning Syrian author and illustrator Nadine Kaadan reads her funny and magical story The Jasmine Sneeze at Hastings Library as part of Hastings Storytelling Festival.

After the story, children can have a go at a drawing activity inspired by The Kind Activity Book. Illustrated by Nadine alongside Axel Scheffler and Renia Metallinou, it explores kindness and celebrating our differences through art.

It’s on at 11 am and entry is free. No booking is needed, but space is limited, so do arrive early.
