Day of the Dead Workshop

Celebrate Day of the Dead by making your own colourful ceramic skeletons and skulls at St Leonards Ceramic Studio.

Katia will show you how to build your figures using wire and clay and decorate them with underglazes. You will also learn about the Mexican tradition behind them. Depending on how detailed you get, you will make 2-4 figures that will be fired after the workshop and ready to collect around 2 weeks later.

It’s beginner-friendly and open to ages 13+. All materials are included but bring an apron. Lunch isn’t provided but there are cafés nearby if you need to refuel.

It’s from 10 am until 2 pm and is £65, including materials and fired pieces. There are only a few spots left so be quick!
