Hastings Tap Takeover 2026

19 of the finest local pubs and bars across Hastings and St Leonards are handing their taps over to 19 top-tier independent breweries this weekend – think of it as a beer festival across the whole town.

Here is a quick look at where you need to head and who is pouring:

1. The Crown Pub: Hosting UnBarred. Always a great vibe in there.
2. The Tower Pub: Hosting Fyne Ales. They are going massive with 10 different cask lines on the go.
3. The Prince Albert: Hosting London legends Anspach & Hobday.
4. Collected Fictions: Hosting Latvia’s Ārpus (perfect if you like heavy, barrel-aged stouts or crazy sours).
5. The Piper: Hosting Verdant, so expect some juicy hazies.
6. Goat Ledge: Hosting Fourman Brewery. Perfect if the weather holds up.
7. The Jenny Lind Doing what they do best with Pig & Porter.
8. The Albion: Lakedown on tap.
9. Heist: They are hosting Tempest.
10. The Seadog: They are hosting Palindrome.
11. The Prince of Wales: Hosting Ideal Day.
12. The Imperial: Hosting Vibrant Forest.
13. Pissarro’s: Hosting Burning Sky.
14. Eel & Bear: Hosting Dark Revolution
15. Ritual: Hosting Floc (brilliant Kent craft brewery known for pales and hazies).
16. Brewing Brothers Courtyard: Hosting Bluntrock
17. Bunka: Hosting Beak (local favorite from Lewes).
18. Twelve Hundred Postcards: Hosting Rooster’s (Yorkshire legends).
19. The Jolly Fisherman: Hosting Azvex (Liverpool brewery famous for IPAs and imperial stouts).

It spans all the way from the Old Town over to St Leonards, so maybe don’t try to hit all 19 in one afternoon unless you fancy a massive walk – though, good luck trying to walk anywhere after a few of those 12 percenters 🍺🥴.

Here is a handy map to guide you on your merry way – you should be able to pick up a physical copy in any one of the participating venues too.

FYI – All pubs are keeping their own usual opening hours.

Accessibility: Setups vary drastically across venues (especially the older historic pubs). Please check directly with individual venues beforehand regarding accessibility.
