PhotoHastings 2026 Festival Launch Night

PhotoHastings is kicking off its 16th year with a big opening night at Electro Studios. Head down from 6 pm for the first look at this year’s exhibitions and get the festival underway.

The launch night brings three exhibitions together under one roof at Electro Studios, exploring everything from overlooked landscapes to human relationships.

LAUNCH NIGHT EXHIBITIONS AT ELECTRO STUDIOS:

Liminal / Minimal / Marginal (Upstairs Gallery)

A major group exhibition featuring works by 14 contemporary photographic artists. The collection explores transitional spaces and the overlooked margins of our environments. The exhibition itself runs: 2nd to 4th October + 9th to 11th October 2026 and is curated by Roy Exley. 

Opposites (Upstairs Gallery)

A compelling photographic feature exploring thematic and visual contrasts, curated by Gary Willis. The exhibition runs from 2nd to 4th October 2026 

Unseen (Downstairs Spaces)

An intimate exhibition tucked into the project space’s lower galleries, highlighting hidden narratives, by Spirit and Wild Photography. This exhibition runs from 2nd to 4th October 2026.
