HASTINGS HERITAGE OPEN DAYS FESTIVAL 2026

If you have ever wanted to snoop around the town’s coolest historic buildings and secret ruins without paying a penny – now is your chance.

The Hastings Heritage Open Days Festival is officially up and running and for ten days straight, 23 local venues are throwing their doors wide open to celebrate the history and unique character of Hastings and St Leonards.Here’s a little of what’s happening:

Wednesday 16th September: It’s free entry to Hastings Castle from 10 am- 5 pm.

Thursday 17th September: A Stade Fishing Quarter Guided Walk starts at 11 am outside the Fishermen’s Museum. It’s free but you need to register.

Saturday 19th September: HTH Church opens its doors  from 11 am to 4 pm for interactive history displays and heritage activities. No booking is needed, you can just wander on in.
